Denying food from the hands of a Muslim Zomato delivery boy is unfortunate: Pradeep Bhattacharya
Home-grown restaurant search and delivery platform Zomato on Wednesday declined to resolve a customer’s complaint who tried to ask the company to change the delivery executive who was a non-Hindu. The man asked Zomato to change the assigned Muslim rider for his food order as it was the “holy month” of Shravan. However in its reply, Zomato said, “Food doesn’t have a religion.” Now this epic response by the company is winning the internet and is drawing praises from the people.
