Deepika Singh offers prayers at Mumbadevi

Navratri - the nine-day long Hindu festival is celebrated to commemorate the triumph of good over evil. The festival which worships Maa Durga has begun today and will end on October 6 with grand celebration of Dussehra across the nation.   The nine manifestations of the Goddess Durga are worshipped during all these nine days. Each goddess has her governing planet, mantra, mount, and iconography. On the first day Deepika Singh has reached Mumbadevi to offer prayers
