Countdown begins for Ayodhya dispute

The hearing pver Ayodhya dispute has entered its last phase and sec 144 has been imposed in Ayodhya following security concern. The Ayodhya dispute is a political, historical and socio-religious debate in India, centred on a plot of land in the city of Ayodhya, located in Ayodhya district, Uttar Pradesh.

The All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB) has said that under the Shariat law, the status of any land dedicated to a mosque cannot be altered, changed or transferred in any manner.
