CBI Director Alok Verma asked to respond to CVC report on him
The Supreme Court has asked benched CBI director Alok Verma to respond to the Central Vigilance Commission's inquiry report on allegations of corruption against him. A bench headed by Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi in its hearing today that it will give CVC report to Alok Verma in a sealed cover and he can file his response by Monday and then court can take a decision. The court has directed the CVC to give its report to Attorney General and Solicitor General.
