BJP leaders' controversial statements: Narad was like Google, set up paan shops
After Tripura CM Biplab Kumar Deb claiming that Internet and satellite communication existed in the days of Mahabharata, on Sunday Gujarat CM Vijay Rupani drew a parallel between Google and ‘Narad’. He said that the sage had information of the entire world in the same way as Internet search engine.
Rupani who was speaking at an event organised by Vishwa Samvad Kendra, the media wing of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), said, “This is relevant in today’s time that Narad was a man of information; who had information of the whole world”.
“Google is the source of information just like Narad, because he knew everything happening in the world,” Rupani further added.
