Around 2000 passengers stranded as Mahalaxmi Express held up due to heavy rain in Mumbai

Mahalaxmi Express has been held up since between Badlapur and Vangani in Maharashtra with around 700 passengers on board, DRM Central Railways said.NDRF team has been deployed to rescue the passengers and is expected to reach the spot soon.Meanwhile, Railway Protection Force and the city police have also reached the spot where Mahalaxmi Express is held up.
