After 12 years as CEO, Indra K. Nooyi steps down on Oct 3, 2018: PepsiCo
PepsiCo on Monday announced that its Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Indra Nooyi will step down on October 3 after 12 long years of leading the US food and beverage giant.
"After 12 years as CEO, Indra K. Nooyi will step down Oct 3, 2018. Her leadership and vision propelled our performance, transformed our company and embedded sustainability into everything we do. Thank you, @IndraNooyi!" the company tweeted.
The company also announced that its President, Ramon Laguarta, will replace Nooyi, who was the first female CEO in the company's history.
