AAP' scheme helped 16-year-old Vijay Kumar make it to IIT Delhi
16-year-old boy Vijay Kumar cracked the IIT examination and took admission to the B.Tech (Chemical) course in IIT Delhi.
While studying in class 12, he took the free coaching scheme for competitive exams for the SC/ST/OBC students in Delhi which are known as Jai Bhim Mukhyamantri Pratibha Vikas Yojana
Under the scheme, which was launched in 2017, assistance up to Rs 40,000, along with a Rs 2,500 monthly stipend, is provided to students whose family income is below Rs 6 lakh per annum.
