The meeting of Congress Working Committee (CWC) went on for at least 7 hours and it was decided that Sonia Gandhi would continue as the interim Chief until the next six months. After this, elections will take place and a new President will be chosen.
On the other hand, Rahul Gandhi expressed that he was hurt by the way, the demand to choose a new chief was raised while his mother was in the hospital.
