Look before you pee: Bengaluru civic body devises new idea to stop public urination

The Bangalore Metropolitan Municipality has come up with a unique idea to tackle the problem of open urination. The civic body is now banking on people reflecting on their actions before unzipping in public.

Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagar Palike (BBMP) has installed mirrors on walls in different places in the city, which embarrasses those who urinate on the road.

As part of Swachh Survekshan 2020, the civic body has installed mirrors in five locations across the city to deter people from urinating in public and eliminate public urination spots.

Besides, a QR code has also been put on the heads which will be scanned to know about the nearest toilet.
