New Delhi: If you're a Taylor Swift fan, this could be the perfect job for you. On Tuesday, US publication 'USA Today' and the The USA Today Network’s newspaper 'The Tennessean'  posted a job listing in search or a Taylor Swift reporter. On hearing about this, many of the singers' fans described it as their dream job. The advertisement, which was shared on Twitter, seeks applications from experienced, video-focused journalists to cover Taylor Swift's music and cultural impact. The position entails writing, photography, and social media management in order to meet the growing demand for Taylor Swift-related content.

The post shared on X (Formerly Twitter) read, "A new era in your career is coming... Ready for it? @USATODAY and @Tennessean are enchanted to announce we seek an experienced, video-forward reporter to cover @taylorswift13. Sound like the job of your wildest dreams? You could be the 1. Apply here."

Netizens took to the comments section to express their views. One of them said, "On the plus side, this could be a dazzling opportunity for @taylorswift13  to jump heavily into social justice and political issues if she has the desire," while another comment read, "did someone just create the world’s most perfect job for me??"

The job posting to find Taylor Swift's video reporter further reads, "Swift's fanbase has grown to unprecedented heights, and so has the significance of her music and growing legacy. We are looking for an energetic writer, photographer and social media pro who can quench an undeniable thirst for all things Taylor Swift with a steady stream of content across multiple platforms. Seeing both the facts and the fury, the Taylor Swift reporter will identify why the pop star's influence only expands, what her fanbase stands for in pop culture, and the effect she has across the music and business worlds."

Talking about the kills required, the job posting said, "Applicants must have a bachelor’s or master’s degree, or comparable experience, along with at least five years in a “digital-first newsroom.” Remote applicants are welcome and can be based anywhere in the U.S. except for Alaska or Hawaii."

The compensation for the job ranges between $21.63 and $50.87 an hour, and may vary based on skills, location and experience.

Taylor Swift is on a roll, with her 'Eras Tour' generating over a billion dollars and significantly contributing to the US economy. Her most recent album, 'Midnight,' was a commercial success, and she won several VMAs (Video Music Awards) in 2023, including Song of the Year.

The musician is also re-recording some of her earlier works, with her next release being a re-recording of her 1989 album.
