The video shared by Bhayani shows Ratan Tata arriving at the Taj Hotel in a white Nano without any bodyguards. He is later seen to be escorted inside by the hotel staff.

New Delhi: Industrialist Ratan Tata has once again won the hearts of netizens with his down-to-earth gesture as he arrived in a Tata Nano at the Taj Hotel in Mumbai. The video, that has gone viral now, was shared by Mumbai-based celebrity photographer Viral Bhayani, on his Instagram handle. Tata Nano, the pocket-friendly car, was launched in 2008 and a few days back, the Chairman Emeritus of Tata Group shared a throwback photo of the event on his Instagram profile.

The video shared by Bhayani shows Ratan Tata arriving at the Taj Hotel in a white Nano without any bodyguards. He is later seen to be escorted inside by the hotel staff.

The photographer shared the video and captioned it, “The legend himself was snapped by our follower Baba Khan today outside the entrance of the Taj Hotel. Baba says he was amazed by his simplicity as he had no body guards, just hotel staff who escorted him in his small Tata Nano.”

Tata’s humble appearance has once again touched the hearts of the netizens.

The viral video has garnered over 119k likes and several reactions.

While some netizens showed their respect for the industrialist, others wrote how down to Earth Ratan Tata is in his real life.

One of the users wrote, “Great human soul with a true spirit of humanity.”

Another wrote, “Sir Ratan Tata there yet again in his simplicity and grounded level. Take a bow legendary.”

One of the users reacted to video writing, “Nano was a gift from him which we all were too proud to admit.”

This is not the first time that the industrialist has shown his humble gestures.

The former chairman of Tata Sons had once travelled in an economy class and for his co-passenger, it came as a pleasant surprise.

After reaching one million followers on social media site Instagram, Ratan Tata shared a post of himself sitting on the floor cross-legged with a 'thank-you' note for his followers.

It is to be noted that Ratan Tata used to work in his own company as an employee, during the struggling days of Tata Steel at Jamshedpur. In spite of getting a high pay job offer from IBM, the industrialist chose to work at his own company and gain experience.

On another occasion, during the interaction with Your Story, Ratan Tata slammed the companies for laying off their employees during the Covid-19 pandemic. “The initial tendency was to lay off people, but is that going to solve your problem? That’s a knee-jerk reaction the traditional workplace, to lay off staff because the business is gone,” he said.
