Mumbai Police has an active and entertaining social media presence. This was once again evident after they decided to address a complaint posted on the internet by a woman named Vedika Arya. In her complaint on the microblogging site X, formerly Twitter, Vedika tagged the Mumbai Police and said she had lost something and was on her way to the police station.

"Police station ja rahi hun sukoon kho gaya hai mera @MumbaiPolice," read the lighthearted complaint posted on X by Vedika. When the Mumbai police came across the tweet and replied to the woman, it went viral.

"Many of us are in ‘talaash’ of ‘sukoon’ too Ms Arya! We appreciate your ‘aitbaar’ in us and are sure that you will find it in your ‘rooh’ - for anything else tangible, you may ‘beshaq’ come to us," tweeted Mumbai Police.

The reply by Mumbai police amazed the internet user and it went viral. Since being shared, the tweet has amassed close to 1.5 lakh views and tons of comments.

"Impact of Bollywood on Mumbai Police... the reason of doing Umang," one user jokingly commented on the post.
