Caught On Camera: Groom Punches His Wife At Their Wedding After Losing A Game

A footage has emerged of a groom apparently beating his new wife in front of guests at their wedding in Uzbekistan.

A video of a groom punching his new wife in the head at their wedding in front of shocked guests has gone viral. According to a report in The Sun, the incident happened in Uzbekistan.

The video shows the groom and his bride standing in front of the guests with a beaming smile. Soon, the toastmaster is seen making them take part in a competition. A toastmaster is the person who coordinates the wedding reception and makes important announcements.

While it is not known what game they were playing, the bride can be seen excitedly lifting her left arm up in the air to signal that she has won. Seconds later, the groom can be seen punching her hard on the back of her head.

The video then shows the shocked bride holding her head while being consoled by a woman next to her. She is then led off the stage by two women. However, the groom, dressed in a black suit, remains on the stage and gives an expression as if nothing had happened.

After the video went viral on social media, several users took to Twitter to share their views on the incident. "This is so sad. I hope she will find (the) courage to charge him and keep him accountable for his actions," a user wrote. "It's horrific how much this is normalized. I hope she gets away from him sooner better than later," another said.

A similar video had gone viral in 2010 when an Uzbek bride was slapped in the face by her husband. In the clip, the person is seen slapping his new bride across the face after she teases him with some wedding cake.
