Herbivores animals don't hunt or prey and primarily consume plant materials as their main diet which is why the video has created a buzz online and raked up thousands of views.

The video was shared by IFS officer Nanda, who explained, "Giraffes are herbivores & use their long necks to reach the leaves & buds in the tree top. They have evolved that way. But sometimes chew & eat bones to get phosphorus. Nature is amazing.''

According to National Geographic, Giraffes consume bones, horns, fallen antlers, and ivory as they provide them with calcium and phosphorous they need for their skeletons. They do not swallow the bones but drop them out when it has gained enough nutrients.

Since being shared the video has amassed 80,000 views, 1,033 likes and several comments.

"Great videos - I learned something new. Thanks," commented one user on the post.
