Light Rainfall, Thunderstorms Predicted Across Telangana, Andhra Pradesh For Next Three Days

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted light to moderate rains for Hyderabad as well later this week.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted light to moderate rains in Telangana for the next three days. However, north Telangana districts are likely to record maximum day temperatures of 42 degrees Celsius to 44 degrees Celsius for the next three days, IMD further said.

The Hyderabad meteorological department said thunderstorms accompanied with lightning and gusty winds at a speed of 30 to 40 kmph are very likely to occur at isolated places in the districts of Adilabad, Komaram Bheem Asifabad, Macherial, Nirmal, Nizamabad,Jayashankar Bhupalapally, Mulugu, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Siddipet,Yadadri Bhuvangiri,Rangareddy,Hyderabad, Medchel Malkajgiri, Vikarabad, Sangareddy, Medak, Kamareddy Wanaparthi, Nagarkurnool, Mahabubnagar of Telangana for the next three days.

Hyderabad Weather

According to the Hyderabad Meteorological Department's forecast, light to moderate rain or thundershowers are very likely to occur in the city on Monday. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be 40 degrees Celsius and 22 degrees Celsius, respectively. Surface winds are likely to be south easterlies with speeds around 4 to 6 kmph.

Andhra Pradesh Weather

The Amaravati Metrological Department has forecast that a thunderstorm accompanied with lightning was likely to occur at isolated places in north coastal AP (NCAP), Yanam, SCAP, and Rayalaseema on Monday. Gusty winds with speeds of 30–40 kmph are likely at isolated places like NCAP, Yanam, SCAP, and Rayalaseema, IMD said.

Light to moderate rain is likely at one or two places in north coastal AP (NCAP), Yanam, SCAP, and Rayalaseema for the next three days, said IMD.
