TRS MPs Continue Protests Against Price Rise & Inflation After Parliament Adjourned Over Same Issue

The Lak Sabha was adjourned earlier on the second day of the Monsoon Session as the Opposition raised slogans and displayed placards on issues of price hikes and inflation

Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) MPs on Tuesday staged protests by carrying placards on the issue of rising in prices and inflation near Gandhi statue in parliament. The Lak Sabha was adjourned earlier on the second day of the Monsoon Session as the Opposition raised slogans and displayed placards on issues of price hikes and inflation.

"As per rules, it is not allowed to bring placards inside the House," said Speaker Om Birla before he adjourned the House proceedings till 2 pm on Tuesday due to sloganeering by Opposition MPs.

The prices of essential commodities are not under control, said protesting TRS MPs. "With the rise in inflation, the life of the common man is becoming chaotic. The BJP government at the center is failing to control prices," said the MPs.

Meanwhile, both Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha have been adjourned till Wednesday morning as the Opposition continues to raise slogans against the price rise and inflation after the session began at 2 PM on Tuesday.
