TPCC chief A Revanth Reddy on Wednesday demanded the dismissal of Minister for Health T Harish Rao from the state Cabinet over the death of four women during a family planning surgery at a government civil hospital in Ibrahimpatnam, Rangareddy District.

Revanth Reddy referred to the deaths as "murder" by the government. He said that Congress would launch a vigorous campaign on behalf of the victims and file a complaint with the National Commission for Women.

Harish Rao was given the health portfolio because of his efficiency, however, this incident happened while he was in charge of the health department, said Revanth.

Responding to KCR's visit to Bihar, Reddy asked why CM K. Chandrashekar Rao did not visit the families of Telangana soldiers who had died in the Galwan valley. Revanth alleged that KCR is looting the money of Telangana people to Delhi, Punjab and Bihar states to improve his image.
