New Delhi: Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy on Sunday met former CM and BRS chief K Chandrasekhar Rao at Yashoda Hospital in Hyderabad, where he underwent hip replacement surgery after suffering a fracture.

Minister Seethakka and former minister Mohammed Ali Shabbir accompanied Reddy.

He underwent a total left hip replacement surgery after he fell in his farmhouse in Erravalli, on December 7.

Speaking to reporters, Reddy said he had instructed the chief secretary and officials concerned to extend necessary help and cooperation for KCR's treatment.
"I requested him (KCR) to recover fast and participate in the Telangana assembly session to voice people’s concerns. His advice is needed to offer good governance to the people," the chief minister said.
On Friday, Rao successfully underwent an operation for a total hip replacement on the left after he slipped and fell in the bathroom at his farmhouse at Erravalli on the night of December 7, reported IANS.
Doctors are satisfied with his progress post the operation, the hospital said on Saturday.
Rao is medically stable, pain-free, and has rested well through the day, the Yashoda Hospital had said in a bulletin on Saturday.
He is being continuously assessed and monitored by the multi-disciplinary team of doctors, it said.
According to the hospital, the former chief minister is expected to recover in six to eight weeks.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Minister and state BJP president G Kishan Reddy, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy, TDP Chief N Chandrababu Naidu, and other leaders on Friday expressed concern over Rao's injury and wished him a speedy recovery.
