BRS president and Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao announced the first list of candidates for the forthcoming state assembly elections on Monday. CM KCR said there would be a change in candidates in only seven out of the total 119 assembly constituencies.
CM KCR will contest from Kamareddy and Gajwel and minister Kalvakuntla Taraka Rama Rao (KTR) from Sircilla.
While announcing the list of candidates, KCR said that his party would win between 95-105 seats out of the total 119 in the upcoming Assembly polls. "Our friendship with AIMIM will continue," KCR added.
The BRS leader also mentioned that the party is planning to unveil its manifesto in Warangal on October 16.

Posting on X (formerly Twitter) after the release of the candidates' list, BRS MLC K Kavitha, who is the daughter of Chandrasekhar Rao said "Dumdaar Leader - Dhamakedaar Decision !!
