Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit the election-bound state of Telangana in October. During his visit the Prime Minister will address public rallies in Hyderabad and Nizamabad, reported news agency ANI, citing BJP National General Secretary Tarun Chugh.
Speaking to the agency about the visit of PM Modi, Chug said, "This visit by PM Narendra Modi is of great importance. People are already excited to listen to him. The people of Telangana hold Prime Minister Modi in high regard."
Laying emphasis on the welfare scheme introduced by the Modi government in the state, the BJP National General Secretary further said, "The people of Telangana are fed up of political dynasties, arrogance and dictatorship. They place their trust in the Modi government and are highly content with the welfare schemes implemented for them. They have resolved to remove KCR from Telangana."

On being asked about BJP Telangana Chief Sanjay Bandi and G Kishan Reddy been given new responsibilities for the state, Chug said that BJP works as a team under the leadership of PM Modi.
"We work as a unified team. PM Modi is our leader, and we operate under his guidance as our captain. There is no discord within us and we will perform better in Telangana," Chug was quoted as saying by ANI.
Union Tourism and Culture Minister G Kishan Reddy was recently assumed the role of President of the Telangana BJP, replacing Bandi Sanjay. While Etela Rajender, the MLA from Huzurabad, was made the Chairman of the Election Management Committee.
After assuming the new position, it will be the fourth time that the Kishan Reddy would be leading the state BJP unit.
The present tenure of the House ends in December 2023, and the election commission is expected to come out with the poll schedule soon.
