New Delhi: On the second day of his tour, Telangana CM K Chandrasekhar Rao held a meeting with Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal at his residence here on Sunday. According to news agency ANI reports, issues related to national politics, federalism, states' roles in the nation's growth, the Centre's policies and several other issues were discussed during the meeting.


Telangana ministers V Prashanth Reddy, parliament members Joginapally Santosh Kumar, Nama Nageshwara Rao, Ranjith Reddy, Venkatesh Netha Borlakunta along with MLA Anand Methuku and others were part of KCR's delegation.

KCR arrived in the national capital on Saturday and met Akhilesh Yadav. Later, the Telangana CM met his Delhi counterpart and visited Sarvodaya Senior Secondary School in Delhi's South Motibagh area. 


The two leaders are expected to leave for Chandigarh later on Sunday to meet martyred farmers' families, who died during the farm law protests. The Telangana CM will give Rs 3 lakh compensation to the families of farmers, who died during the agitation, said an NDTV report. 


Meanwhile, Telangana Congress spokesperson Dasoju Sravan reportedly said that the CM has turned a blind eye to the suicides of farmers in the state and the Congress leader accused the CM of showing 'double standards'.
