IMD Predicts Heavy Rains, Hailstorms In Telangana For Next 2 Days

The Hyderabad Meteorological Department said that thunderstorms accompanied with lightning, hailstorms, and heavy rain are very likely to occur in some districts of Telangana.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted light to moderate rain or thundershowers in several parts of Telangana over the next two days.

The Hyderabad Meteorological Department said that thunderstorms accompanied with lightning and gusty winds at a speed of 30 to 40 kmph, hailstorms, and heavy rain are very likely to occur in the districts of Adilabad, Komaram Bhim, Asifabad, Manchiryala, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Jagityal, Rajanna Sircilla, Karimnagar, Pedapally, Jayashankar Bhupalapally, Mulugu, Mahabubabad, Warangal, Hanamkonda, Sidipet, Rangareddy, and Hyderabad on Wednesday.

Hyderabad Weather

The sky has been cloudy in Hyderabad on Wednesday. According to IMD, light to moderate rain or thundershowers are very likely to occur in the city with the maximum and minimum temperatures expected to settle at 33 degrees and 22 degrees, respectively. Winds are likely to blow from the southeast at a speed of 6 to 10 km per hour, the Hyderabad MeT department said.

On Tuesday evening, Hyderabad received heavy spells of rain, bringing vehicular movement to a standstill at many places. As a result, traffic was thrown out of gear at many places in the city.

Andhra Pradesh Weather

As per the forecast released by Regional Meteorological Department (Amaravati), thunderstorms accompanied with lighting are likely to occur at isolated places over all the districts of Andhra Pradesh on Wednesday. Gusty winds at a speed of 30 to 40 kmph are likely to occur at isolated places over all the districts of Andhra Pradesh, the Amaravati met department said.
