Hyderabad: History Sheeter Shot Dead In Madhapur

The death may have been caused by some problems with property deals between Ismail and Mujju, according to police officials.

Hyderabad: A history-sheeter was shot dead by another alleged criminal at Madhapur close to Neeru's crossroads here on Monday. The victim Mohd Ismail, for whom a history sheet is maintained at the Kalapather police station, while travelling from Jubilee Hills to Madhapur, got into an argument with another individual named Mujju.

Ismail got down and tried to run away when Mujju shot at him point blank with a gun, resulting in the former's death on the spot. However, another person was seriously injured in the incident.

The police got to know about the incident from the locals and rushed to the scene. The injured was shifted to Osmania Hospital for treatment. The Deputy Commissioner of Police has also reached the spot and has been reviewing the situation. 

The fight between both of them may be due to some problems with property deals between Ismail and Mujju, according to police officials. Ismail was just let out of prison. Ismail and Mujju made contact while they were both in jail, said police.

Police found that Mujju is currently residing near Maisamma Temple. The police are to continue the investigation based on the CCTV footage. Ismail's dead body was shifted to Osmania Hospital for postmortem.
