'BJP Will Not Win Munugode' Letter Is Fake: Bandi Sanjay Slams TRS

The "fake" letter, with a letterhead of Bandi Sanjay Kumar, reads, "Despite continuous and effortless door-to-door campaigning, we are receiving a lot of backlash from the people of Munugode."

Telangana Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president Bandi Sanjay Kumar on Tuesday slammed Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) for allegedly releasing a "fake letter" in his name.

Clarifying on Twitter, Bandi Sanjay said, "After the Farm House Drama of buying MLAs flopped, frustrated TRS fraudsters now released a fake letter. TRS's tryst with lies would end on 3Nov as BJP is set for a record win at Munugode which will lead to a real resignation of KCR from public life. TRS days are numbered,".

The "fake" letter, with a letterhead of Bandi Sanjay Kumar, reads, "Despite continuous and effortless door-to-door campaigning, we are receiving a lot of backlash from the people of Munugode."

The letter also states that the party did not get enough cadres from the Telangana Congress as expected when the contesting candidate, Komatireddy Raj Gopal Reddy, shifted to the BJP. "Also, the candidates failed to establish a strong connection with our local BJP cadre in Munugode, which resulted in a lack of coordination among them."

"I request all central leadership to refrain from any campaigning in Munugode constituency since the outcome of the election does not seem to be in our favour," the letter further read.

The bypoll for the Munugode Assembly constituency will take place on November 3 and the counting of votes on November 6.
