Xiaomi 14 Civi India Launch On June 12. Specifications, Features, Price And More

The Xiaomi 14 Civi is said to be a rebranded version of the Civi 4 Pro, which was launched in the company's home turf China in March.

Handset maker Xiaomi has officially confirmed that the Xiaomi 14 Civi will be its next major smartphone launch in India. In a recent post on X, formerly Twitter, the Chinese handset maker announced the launch date of the Xiaomi 14 Civi in India and offered a glimpse of the phone's design. Previously, the company hinted at the new handset with a cryptic “Cinematic Vision” teaser. Now, it has confirmed that the phone will be unveiled in India on June 12. The Xiaomi 14 Civi is said to be a rebranded version of the Civi 4 Pro, which was launched in the company's home turf China in March.

This will mark the debut of the Xiaomi Civi series in the Indian market. In China, the Civi series is already well-established, having first launched in 2021.

Xiaomi 14 Civi Specifications And Features In India (Expectations)

Based on the Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro’s China price which is 2,999 Yuan, the 14 Civi is likely be priced around Rs 35,000 in India. However, considering the duty fee and taxes, the phone's price could go up to Rs 50,000 in India. Under the hood, the Xiaomi 14 Civi is expected to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, coupled with 12GB of LPPDDR5x RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage.

As part of Xiaomi’s flagship series in India, the Xiaomi 14 Civi is expected to feature a 50-megapixel primary camera with a Leica Summilux lens, similar to the flagship Xiaomi 14 and 14 Ultra. The rear camera setup will likely include a 12-megapixel Omnivision OV13B10 ultra-wide sensor and a 50-megapixel 2x telephoto camera. For selfies, a 32-megapixel front camera is anticipated.

Given that the Xiaomi 14 Civi is expected to be a rebranded Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro, we can anticipate similar specifications and features. The smartphone is likely to feature a 6.55-inch AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a 240Hz touch sampling rate. A standout feature will be its impressive peak brightness of 3,000 nits. Additionally, the display is expected to include 2160Hz PWM dimming and be protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2.
