Vivo V50: Expected Price In India, Specifications, Release Date, Everything Else We Know So Far

Vivo V50: Vivo is all set to unveil its latest V-series smartphone, the Vivo V50, in India on February 17. The upcoming device will be the successor to the Vivo V40 and is expected to introduce several noteworthy enhancements, particularly in camera technology and display quality. The company has already provided a sneak peek at the phone’s design, emphasizing its advanced portrait photography capabilities, which will be powered by Zeiss optics.

Vivo V50 India Launch Details

The official launch event for the Vivo V50 is scheduled for February 17 at 12 pm IST.

The smartphone is expected to be available in three colour variants: Rose Red, Starry Night, and Titanium Grey.

Vivo V50 Specifications and Features (Expected)

The Vivo V50 is likely to feature a 6.7-inch quad-curved AMOLED display, offering a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it is expected to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset, coupled with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, ensuring a seamless user experience.

Battery performance is another key highlight, as the device is rumoured to house a massive 6,000mAh battery, supported by 90W fast charging. Additionally, the phone is expected to come with IP68 and IP69 ratings, making it resistant to dust and water.

For photography enthusiasts, the Vivo V50 is anticipated to sport a triple-camera setup, headlined by a 50MP primary sensor and a 50MP ultra-wide camera. On the front, users may find a 50MP selfie shooter. Vivo is also expected to introduce AI-driven photography enhancements, including Wedding Portrait Studio and AI Studio Light Portrait 2.0, to elevate the imaging experience.

Vivo V50 Expected Price in India

While Vivo has yet to confirm the pricing, industry sources suggest that the Vivo V50 could start at Rs 37,999. This positions the device in the premium mid-range segment, competing with other smartphones in the category.
