Galaxy Ring Teased: First Look, Features, Availability
The brief teaser showcased at the end of the Galaxy Unpacked event revealed the Galaxy Ring featuring a sleek, circular design.
Wednesday's Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event didn't just unveil the flagship Samsung Galaxy S24 phones, but the tech giant also hinted at the launch of the Galaxy Ring -- a new smart ring designed to monitor a user's health, heating up the competition in the smart ring segment. The Samsung Galaxy Ring has Samsung's "cutting-edge" health innovations in a fresh form factor, aiming to be a "powerful and accessible health and wellness device", set to redefine the landscape of future health.
The ring will likely be similar to other smart rings, monitoring the wearer's heart rate, sleep patterns, temperature, and exercise. To attract both Samsung and non-Samsung users, Samsung must distinguish its wearable from existing options available in the market out there. There is no word on the availability and pricing of the product, as yet.
