Samsung Galaxy S25 Leaks: Top-End Ultra Model Could Be Priced The Same As Galaxy S24 Ultra

Samsung Galaxy S25 series, which will include three models, is rumoured to debut at Samsung’s Unpacked event in January 2024.

Samsung Galaxy S25 Leaks: Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S25 Ultra could buck earlier predictions of a significant price hike, thanks in part to Apple’s decision to freeze prices for its iPhone 16 series. Initial rumours suggested a potential 10-12 per cent increase across the Galaxy S25 lineup, but recent leaks (from tipster Jukanlosreve on X) now point to prices remaining stable.

Rumoured Pricing for Galaxy S25 Series

The Galaxy S25 series could feature competitive pricing across its models:

  • Samsung Galaxy S25: Expected to start at $799 (roughly Rs 67,500) for 12GB RAM and 128GB storage, with a 256GB option priced around $859 (Rs 72,500).
  • Samsung Galaxy S25+: Anticipated to start at $999 (Rs 84,300) for 256GB storage, with a 512GB variant potentially costing $1,119 (Rs 94,500).
  • Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra: May begin at $1,299 (Rs 1,10,000) for 12GB RAM and 256GB storage, with the 512GB model priced at $1,419. A top-tier 16GB + 1TB version could hit $1,659 (Rs 1,40,000).

Early Buyer Incentives

Samsung is reportedly planning perks for early adopters. Pre-orders might include enhanced trade-in credits, bonus Samsung Credit of up to $50, and free storage upgrades. US customers could also receive extras like a Galaxy Watch or Galaxy Buds, depending on the retailer and promotion terms.

Samsung Galaxy S25 Launch Timeline

The Galaxy S25 series is rumoured to debut at Samsung’s Unpacked event in January 2024. In addition to the standard S25 lineup, Samsung might unveil a new variant, the Galaxy S25 Slim.

Samsung Galaxy S25 Benchmarking Insights

The Galaxy S25 series has already made waves on Geekbench, showcasing powerful performance with a 4.47GHz overclocked Snapdragon 8 Elite processor tailored for Galaxy devices. Early benchmarks reveal a single-core score of 2,481 and a multi-core score of 8,658, along with 12GB of RAM and Android 15.

Exclusively Snapdragon?

While earlier rumours hinted at a mix of Snapdragon and Exynos chipsets, newer leaks suggest Samsung might rely solely on Snapdragon processors worldwide, ensuring consistent performance across all regions. This aligns with the strategy adopted for the Galaxy S23 series.

With powerful hardware and competitive pricing, Samsung’s Galaxy S25 series is poised to challenge its rivals head-on. However, these details remain speculative until official announcements are made. Stay tuned for updates as the launch approaches.
