Samsung Galaxy S25 International Model Spotted On Geekbench, Hinting At Snapdragon 8 Elite Exclusivity

Samsung Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra are expected to be launched towards the end of this month.

Samsung Galaxy S25 Leaks: Fresh tips about the Samsung Galaxy S25 series continue to fuel speculation about its hardware choices. The latest revelation comes from Geekbench, where the international variant of the Galaxy S25, carrying the model number SM-S931B, was recently listed. This version is equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, adding weight to rumours that Samsung might opt for Snapdragon chips across its flagship series.

Earlier this month, the Galaxy S25+ was spotted on Geekbench with the Exynos 2500 chipset, sparking debates over whether the series would offer region-specific processors. However, the international Galaxy S25 listing suggests that Snapdragon could be the dominant choice this time around.

The Geekbench scores for the Galaxy S25 prototype stood at 2,986 in single-core and 9,355 in multi-core performance. While these results are slightly lower than other devices featuring the Snapdragon 8 Elite, it’s worth noting that this could be an early-stage unit, with the retail version likely to deliver improved performance. The device is expected to launch with Android 15 and 12GB of RAM.

Samsung Galaxy S25 Series: Release Date, Preorder Timelines (Expected)

Samsung is reportedly gearing up to unveil the Galaxy S25 lineup, which includes the Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra, by the end of January 2025. According to South Korean outlet Fnnews.com, preorders in South Korea are set to begin on January 24 and will run until February 3. The global launch is scheduled for February 7, 2025.

This schedule is consistent with Samsung’s release strategy for the Galaxy S24 series, which debuted in January 2024. Industry watchers expect similar timelines for international markets, including the United States, with availability likely in early February.

As the official announcement approaches, more details about the Galaxy S25 series are anticipated, promising new insights into Samsung’s latest flagship features.
