Samsung Galaxy S21 FE With Snapdragon 888 Quietly Launched In India. Price, Specs, More

Samsung has unveiled the Snapdragon-powered Galaxy S21 FE in India in only one storage configuration.

After several leaks and rumours, Samsung Galaxy S21 FE with Snapdragon 888 chipset was quietly launched in India on Monday (July 10). The new model in the popular Galaxy Fan Edition (FE) series will go on retail in the country starting tomorrow (July 11) via online stores and it was made available on brick and mortar stores today. As widely expected, the South Korean tech giant has unveiled the Snapdragon-powered Galaxy S21 FE in India in only one storage configuration. The SD variant of the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE comes with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.

Samsung Galaxy S21 FE Price, Specs, Colours In India

The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE Snapdragon 888 model can be purchased in five colour options in India: Olive, Navy, Graphite, Lavender and White. The Snapdragon 888 of the Galaxy S21 FE is a tad bit expensive as compared to the Exynos version of Galaxy S21 SE which is retailing for Rs 37,999. The SD 888 variant of Galaxy S21 FE is priced at Rs 49,999. The handset has also announced offers for buyers of the new Galaxy S21 FE. Prospective buyers can get an instant discount of Rs 5,000 on HDFC Bank credit and debit cards. Meanwhile, Samsung Axis Bank credit card holders are eligible for 10 per cent cashback on buying the new Galaxy S21 FE. At this price point, the device competes with the likes of Samsung's own Galaxy S22+, and the OnePlus 11, among others.

The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE comes with a 6.4-inch FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X screen and a refresh rate of 120Hz. The device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 octa-core processor coupled with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage. A 4500mAh battery powers the device, coupled with 25-watt wired charging and 15-watt wireless charging. Like most Samsung devices, the charger for this smartphone would be sold separately. There is a 12MP ultra-wide camera, a 12MP wide sensor and an 8MP telephoto sensor with 30x space zoom while the front side houses a 32MP camera with an aperture of f/2.2.

Meanwhile, the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE also seems to be imminent as the device has been spotted on China’s 3C certification website, which means it has received the China Compulsory Certificate. The China Compulsory Certificate or 3C is a mandatory certification required for products that can be exported to the country, which is the world's biggest smartphone market.
