Both models come equipped with active noise cancellation (ANC). The standard Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 feature an 11mm dynamic driver, while the Pro version houses a 10.5mm dynamic driver.

Samsung, on Wednesday, July 10, introduced its latest TWS earphones, the Galaxy Buds 3 and Galaxy Buds 3 Pro, at the Galaxy Unpacked 2024 event. These new earbuds showcase a significant design shift, incorporating stems and Blade Lights, reminiscent of Apple's AirPods.

Pricing And Availability

The Galaxy Buds 3 are set to retail for $179.99, with the Pro model priced at $249.99. Prospective buyers can choose between Silver and White colour options. Pre-orders begin immediately, with availability starting July 24. The company has announced that these products will be available for purchase in India starting July 24.

Design, Features And Specs

The new Galaxy Buds 3 series boasts an IP57 rating for dust and water resistance. Both models come equipped with active noise cancellation (ANC). The standard Galaxy Buds 3 feature an 11mm dynamic driver, while the Pro version houses a 10.5mm dynamic driver.

Leveraging machine learning (ML), these earbuds can now enhance voice clarity in noisy environments. They support Bluetooth 5.4 and above, with compatibility for various audio codecs including AAC, SBC, SSC, HiFi, and SSC UHQ.

The Galaxy Buds 3 employ an open-type design, contrasting with the in-ear configuration of the Pro model. The Pro version distinguishes itself with a two-way speaker system, combining a 10.5mm dynamic driver and a 6.1mm Planar speaker. Both models are equipped with three microphones and voice pickup units. Both the Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 and Buds 3 Pro feature intelligent ANC capabilities. This automatically adjusts noise cancellation levels based on the surrounding environment, thus, eliminating the need for manual adjustments.

The latest Galaxy Buds series introduces voice command functionality, enabling users to manage music playback without physical interaction with the earbuds or connected devices. Both models in the series feature active noise cancellation (ANC) and houses IP55 rating for durability.

The Pro variant incorporates blade lights on the stem and offers pinch or swipe controls for volume adjustment.

Battery-wise, the standard model contains a 48mAh battery in each bud and a 515mAh case battery, promising up to 30 hours of total playtime (24 with ANC). The Pro model upgrades to 53mAh per bud, maintaining the same case capacity, and offers up to 30 hours of use (26 with ANC).

Both variants will be available in Silver and White colour options. While the release date is set for July 24, pricing details for the Indian market are yet to be disclosed.
