Samsung Praises Rival Oppo's Find N Smartphone, Calls It 'Amazing'

At a time when there is fierce competition between smartphone makers to dominate the market comes a surprise - Samsung heaped praises on rival Oppo for its foldable Oppo Find N smartphone.

New Delhi: At a time when there is fierce competition between smartphone makers to keep innovating and dominate the market comes a surprise - Samsung that has produced 3 generations of foldable smartphones heaped praises on rival Oppo for its foldable Oppo Find N smartphone. The incident took almost everybody by surprise on Twitter when a OnePlus and Oppo PR executive posted a tweet mentioning that today's smartphones are not at all boring.

"For all the recent comments suggesting that today's Android smartphones are "all the same" and "boring", a little reminder 👇," the OnePlus and Oppo PR executive named Ryan Fenwick recently tweeted.

The video shared by Fenwick featured a video of Oppo's foldable Find N and also mentioned how today’s Android devices are not boring. He was replying to a comment made by Nothing's founder Carl Pei on the sidelines of the Nothing Phone (1) that was announced last week. Among a string of replies that the OnePlus and Oppo global communications executive received on Twitter was also Samsung Mobile US' reply that read: "Pretty ah-mazing! 🤩."

It is not known if Samsung Mobile US' Twitter handle accidentally tweeted the comment and heaped praises on rival Oppo or whether it did so while being a sport and was genuinely appreciating how far foldable devices have come. It is also likely that Samsung Mobile US may have mistaken the device in the GIF tweeted by Fenwick to be a Galaxy Fold smartphone.
