Realme GT5 Pro Launching Next Month, Company Confirms

The launch of the GT5 Pro will take place in Shenzhen, China, at 2 pm local time.

The Realme GT5 Pro is slated to launch on December 7, the company has confirmed. The Realme GT 5 Pro is the company’s upcoming flagship smartphone that is slated to debut in the company's hom turf China soon. Realme has been teasing the GT 5 Pro's specs. It is coming with the top-tier Qualcomm Snapdragontop 8 Gen 3 chipset, and 1TB of onboard storage. The handset maker has now revealed the launch date of the Realme GT 5 Pro. 

The launch of the GT5 Pro will take place in Shenzhen, China, at 2 pm local time. There as been no word on global unveiling or India launch.

To recall, when Qualcomm Technologies officially launched its flagship mobile platform, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 at its annual Snapdragon Summit last month, the first lot of flagship Android phones that confirmed to feature the SoC were OnePlus 12, Realme GT5 Pro and Xiaomi 14, among others. The processor will be adopted for flagship devices by other OEMs and smartphone brands including Asus, Honor, Meizu, Nio, Nubia, Redmi, RedMagic, Sony, Vivo and ZTE.

Flagship Android smartphones powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 are likely to be available in the coming weeks.

This smartphone claims to bring superior chipset performance with impeccable image quality, boasting a Sony IMX890 sensor for its telephoto lens.

Realme joined hands with ArcSoft to enhance the device's photography features. The US-based software company contributed to semantic perception, image quality enhancement, and computational lighting, aiming to provide users with a more relaxed and excellent photography experience.

Realme GT 5 Pro Spces, Features (Expected)

The Realme GT 5 Pro is said to boast a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. It is set to launch with either 16GB or 24GB of LPDDR5x RAM and a good 1TB UFS 4.0 storage. Alongside the 50MP telephoto lens, the device may feature a 50MP Sony LYT-T808 sensor with OIS, and an 8MP OmniVision OV0810 ultra-wide-angle lens. For selfies, a 32MP front camera is expected to be housed at the front. The smartphone is likely to house a hefty 5,400mAh battery supporting 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. On the software side, it is poised to run Realme UI 5 based on Android 14.
