Poco F6 5G India Launch Confirmed For This Date. Check Expected Features And Specifications

Poco India has officially announced that the Poco F6 5G will be launched in India on May 23.

Handset maker Poco is set to unveil the Poco F6 5G in India. The company has revealed the launch date and offered a glimpse of the handset's design. Additionally, Poco has confirmed details regarding the phone's availability. While key specifications of the phone have been previously speculated, it is rumoured to be a rebranded version of the Redmi Turbo 3, which debuted in China in April.

The Poco F6 5G is anticipated to share both design and specifications with the Redmi Turbo 3.

Poco F6 5G Availability On Flipkart

The Poco F6 5G is said to get two cameras housed within distinct circular modules, each slightly elevated, accompanied by a ring-like flash unit. Engraving on the panel indicates that the phone will boast a 50-megapixel camera with optical image stabilisation (OIS) support. Furthermore, a Flipkart microsite for the handset has been launched, confirming its availability on the e-commerce platform.

Poco India has officially announced that the Poco F6 5G will be launched in India on May 23 at 4:30pm IST. The company's social media handle shared a teaser featuring the tagline "God Mode On" to hint at the upcoming smartphone. The teaser also provides a glimpse of the rear panel of the handset, revealing the arrangement of camera units.

The rear camera system arrangement of the Poco F6 5G bears resemblance to that of the Redmi Turbo 3.

The Poco F6 5G is rumored to debut in India featuring a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC, a 6.7-inch 120Hz 1.5K OLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection, a 20-megapixel selfie camera, and a 5,000mAh battery with 90W fast charging capability. Recent reports suggest that it appeared on Geekbench with 12GB of RAM and an operating system based on Android 14.

Furthermore, the colour depicted in the teaser resembles the Ice Titanium option offered with the Redmi model. The Redmi Turbo 3 was introduced in China with a starting price of CNY 1,999 (approximately Rs 23,000) for the base variant featuring 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. Additionally, it is available in configurations including 12GB + 512GB, 16GB + 512GB, and 16GB + 1TB variants.
