Poco C65 India Launch On December 15: Expected Features, Pricing, Colour, More

Handset maker Poco is gearing up to unveil its new C65 smartphone in India on December 15 and it will exclusively available on e-commerce site Flipkart.

Handset maker Poco is gearing up to unveil its new C65 smartphone in India on December 15 and it will exclusively available on e-commerce site Flipkart. The Poco C65 is set to feature the same design as its global counterpart and is anticipated to boast identical specifications. The international variant of the handset comes with a 6.74-inch HD+ display featuring a refresh rate of up to 90 Hz and a peak brightness of 600 nits.

Powered by the MediaTek Helio G85 processor, it supports up to 8GB of RAM and an additional 8GB of extended RAM through on-device storage, totaling 256GB. The storage capacity of the Poco C65 could expandable up to 1TB via a MicroSD card.

As per the Flipkart listing, the Poco C65 is set to be offered in two colour choices: namely Pastel Blue and Matte Black and will come equipped with a dual rear camera setup. The smartphone incorporates a waterdrop-shaped notch on the front for the front-facing camera, and the front glass is safeguarded by Corning Gorilla Glass.

The handset maker has alread confirmed on X, formerly Twitter, that the Poco C65 will be unveiled in India on December 15.

The rear of the device showcases a dual-camera arrangement, comprising a 50MP main sensor and a 2MP macro lens. Additionally, the front side has an 8MP shooter.

The Poco C65 would house a 5,000 mAh battery supporting up to 18W fast charging and may feature a claimed 25 days of standby battery life, as per Poco. Notably, the smartphone maker specifies that the included adapter supports only 10W and a separate purchase of an 18W adapter is required.

In terms of security features, the device incorporates a fingerprint scanner integrated into the power button and utilizes "AI face unlock" through the front camera. The international version offers a choice of three colours — black, blue and purple. The international model operates on MIUI 14 based on Android 14.

Poco C65 India Pricing (Expected)

Anticipated to make its entry in India soon, the Poco C65 is likely to come in two storage configurations: 6GB RAM/128GB storage and 8GB RAM/256GB storage. The global release of the Poco C65 was priced at $119 for the 6GB RAM/128GB storage variant, and the Indian version is projected to start at less than Rs 10,000, while the 8GB RAM variant may likely surpass the Rs 10,000 mark.
