Oppo Pad Air 2 May Launch As Rebadged OnePlus Pad Go: Specs, Features, More

According to leakster Digital Chat Station's comment on Chinese micro-blogging site Weibo, the OnePlus Pad Air 2 is set to debut in China this month, coinciding with the Oppo Reno 11 series.

Handset maker Oppo is gearing up for the release of the Oppo Reno 11 series, expected on November 23 in China, according to leaks. The Reno 11 series is said to be hit by a delay, thus, pushing the launch to December. A new leak by famed tipster Digital Chat Station has hinted at the launch of the Oppo Pad Air 2 alongside the refreshed Oppo Reno line. Some reports suggest that the OnePlus Pad Go would be unveiled as a rebadged Oppo Pad Air 2.

Oppo Pad Air 2 Specs, Features (Expected)

It is to be noted that the OnePlus Pad Go was only unveiled in select regions with a hefty 8,000mAh battery. The Oppo Pad Air 2 hit radio certification in the company's home turf in China in July, pointing at an imminent launch in the country.

According to leakster Digital Chat Station's comment on Chinese micro-blogging site Weibo, the OnePlus Pad Air 2 is set to debut in China this month, coinciding with the Oppo Reno 11 series.

Since the Oppo Pad Air 2 is said to be a rebranded OnePlus Pad Go tablet that was unveiled in India last month, it is likely to feature the same same of specs, including an 11.35-inch display with a 2.4K resolution and 400 nits of brightness. The tablet's display panel might get a 90Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it could be powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G99 chipset, likely to be paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.

It is being said that the tablet would be launching with Android 13 OS and the company's ColorOS 13.2 UI on top.

To recall, available in 8GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB RAM and storage options, both in Wi-Fi and LTE-enabled models, the OnePlus Pad Go comes at a starting price of Rs 19,999 for the Wi-Fi-only 128GB variant in India. The LTE-enabled lower storage model is priced at Rs 21,999, while the LTE model with 256GB storage is set at Rs 23,999. The Oppo Pad Air 2 is likely to be priced similar in India. However, there is no official word on the same.

The tablet will be offered in a single Twin Mint colourway, and pre-orders are set to commence on October 12 at 12pm IST. Sale is scheduled to start in two weeks.
