OnePlus Nord 3 Design Officially Revealed By Handset Maker Ahead Of July Launch

The handset maker has revealed the first look of the upcoming OnePlus Nord 3 5G, showing off the back panel design of the smartphone ahead of its global unveiling.

OnePlus has officially revealed the first look of the OnePlus Nord 3 5G smartphone ahead of its launch. The handset maker has revealed the first look of the upcoming OnePlus Nord 3 5G, showing off the back panel design of the smartphone ahead of its global unveiling alongside several products including, the OnePlus Nord CE 3 5G, the OnePlus Nord Buds 2r and OnePlus BWZ2 ANC on July 5, 2023. The handset maker has also said that the OnePlus Nord 3 5G will come in two colourways: Tempest Gray and Misty Green. While the OnePlus Nord 3 5G in Tempest Gray has a textured matte finish, projecting strength and permanence, the Misty Green colourway has a glossy and beautiful hand-feel.

The company will unveil the products at its "OnePlus Nord Summer" event.

“OnePlus Nord is all about giving our users pretty much everything they could ask for, and this starts with a great OnePlus design,” said OnePlus COO and President Kinder Liu, via a Twitter post.

“I’m excited to be sharing this first look at the OnePlus Nord 3 5G and look forward to sharing more over the next few weeks.” 

The OnePlus Nord 3 is set to be unveiled soon and it is likely to come at a starting price of Rs 30,000-Rs 32,000. The handset maker may not launch the OnePlus Nord 3 at a higher price as Nord models have been launching in this price bracket. Also, rivalling phones such as Iqoo Neo 7 and Poco F5 have been launched in a similar price category.

The smartphone is also likely to compete with the likes of iQoo Neo 7 which costs around Rs 28,999, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus 5G that is available for Rs 28,990 and the Motorola Edge 40 which is among the best smartphones under Rs 30,000 in India. 

To recall, the last Nord device to launch in the country was OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite. OnePlus refreshed its Nord lineup with the launch of the OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite 5G and the search OnePlus Nord Buds 2 in India in April. The Nord CE 3 Lite is an affordable device from the house of search OnePlus, but it claims to bring the company's signature fast and smooth performance, with significant key features. The smartphone sports a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 5G chipset, a 108MP main camera and a hefty 5000mAh battery capacity that supports 67W SUPERVOOC proprietary ultra-fast charging.
