OnePlus launched the OnePlus Buds V in China on Thursday along with the OnePlus Ace 3V. The wireless earbuds boast dual 12.4mm drivers and provide three customizable preset sound modes. Additionally, they incorporate AI-driven noise cancellation technology, promising improved call clarity for users. These earbuds are designed to work seamlessly with OnePlus devices running ColorOS 11 or OxygenOS 11 and newer versions, as well as other Android models utilizing Android 7.0-based UI or higher. Currently, they are up for pre-order and are expected to be available for purchase later this year.

The OnePlus Buds V are priced at CNY 179 (approximately Rs 2,100) in China and are currently open for pre-orders on the Oppo China e-store. These earphones come in three colour options: Interstellar Blue, Silver Sand White, and Shadow Black. Customers who pre-order can avail of a discounted price of CNY 149 (around Rs 1,700).

The official sale of these earphones in China will begin on March 25.

OnePlus Buds V: Specifications, Features

The OnePlus Buds V are equipped with 12.4mm titanium-plated dynamic drivers that promise clear audio quality with enhanced bass response. These earphones are compatible with Dolby Panoramic Sound, providing an immersive listening experience, especially when paired with a Dolby Atmos-enabled OnePlus smartphone.

These newly introduced wireless earphones come with three preset sound modes - Balanced, Deep Bass, and Clear & Bright. Users can further customize the equalizer settings through the HeyMelody app. Featuring dual microphones and AI-powered noise cancellation, the earphones effectively reduce background noise for improved voice clarity during calls.

Regarding battery performance, the OnePlus Buds V claims to deliver up to eight hours of continuous playback on a single charge, with the charging case providing an additional 38 hours of usage. The case supports USB Type-C charging. Moreover, a quick one-hour charge can provide up to five hours of playback time.

These earphones support Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity with a low latency of 94ms, ensuring smooth audio transmission. Weighing just 4.3g per earbud, they are lightweight and comfortable to wear. Additionally, intuitive touch controls allow users to manage music playback, answer or end calls, and more with ease.
