OnePlus 13R Specifications Leaked: Expected To Feature Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Chipset & 6,000mAh Battery

OnePlus has officially confirmed the launch of the OnePlus 13, scheduled for January 2025. Alongside this announcement, rumors suggest that the company may also unveil the OnePlus 13R at the same event. While there hasn’t been an official confirmation about the 13R, leaks have hinted at its potential specifications. Renowned tipster Steve H.McFly (@OnLeaks), in collaboration with 91Mobiles, suggests the OnePlus 13R might feature a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1,264x2,780 pixels.

This display is expected to support a 120Hz refresh rate and offer a pixel density of 450ppi, ensuring vibrant and smooth visuals akin to its predecessor. Powering the device could be the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, positioning it as a strong player in the mid-range smartphone market. Additionally, the OnePlus 13R is rumored to run OxygenOS 15.0, based on Android 15, delivering the latest software enhancements and features straight out of the box.

OnePlus 13R: Specifications (Expected)

The OnePlus 13R is expected to offer competitive specifications in terms of performance, storage, and features. According to leaked reports, the base configuration will include 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Additional configurations may be introduced either at launch or through later iterations. Color options reportedly include Astral Trail and Nebula Noir, with the possibility of more choices being added subsequently.

The device's rear camera system is anticipated to feature a triple-lens configuration. The primary sensor is a 50MP unit with an f/1.8 aperture, supplemented by an 8MP sensor with an f/2.2 aperture and another 50MP sensor with an f/2.0 aperture. For front-facing photography, the handset is rumored to include a 16MP camera with an f/2.4 aperture.

Powering the OnePlus 13R is a 6,000mAh battery, which is reportedly equipped with 80W fast charging capabilities. Connectivity features are expected to include Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, a USB Type-C port, and support for Wi-Fi standards ranging from 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac to the latest ax/be protocols. Security and additional functionality may be enhanced by an in-display optical fingerprint sensor and an infrared blaster.
