Handset maker OnePlus is known to release limited edition smartphones and now, the brand is set to launch of its OnePlus 11 5G Marble Odyssey variant soon. The limited-edition smartphone will be available in India soon and the handset maker has asked enthusiasts to "stay tuned" to OnePlus' official social media channels and website for more information.
The OnePlus 11 was initially launched in Titan Black and Eternal Green colours.
Similar to OnePlus, other handset makers like Samsung, Oppo and Iqoo have released special edition smartphones in the past. Some of the best limited edition models include Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ Star Wars Special Edition, OnePlus 5T Star Wars Edition (was perhaps the best-selling superhero limited edition device), Iqoo 3 Transformers Limited Edition and Oppo Reno Ace Gundam 40th Anniversary Edition phone.
"As OnePlus unveils the OnePlus 11 5G Marble Odyssey, the brand narrows the gap between art and technology, capturing the essence of individuality and setting a new standard for craftsmanship and innovation in the Indian smartphone market," OnePlus said.
To recall, OnePlus 11 5G was unveiled in India and globally in February.
In India, the OnePlus 11 5G went on sale on February 14 across OnePlus.in, OnePlus Store App, OnePlus Experience Stores and Amazon.in. The device started retailing at Rs 56,999 for the 8GB/128GB variant and Rs 61,999 for the 16GB/256GB variant. The price of the Marble Odyssey edition is likely to remain the same, but there's no official confirmation.
The OnePlus 11 5G comes with the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, and promises to deliver increased CPU and GPU speeds (35 per cent and 25 per cent respectively), along with improved power efficiency. The OnePlus 11 5G also comes with up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM memory and OnePlus’s proprietary RAM-Vita technology to allow for as many as 44 applications to be active on the device at the same time.
There's 100W SUPERVOOC fast-charging, coupled with a 5,000mAh dual-cell battery on the phone, which is claimed to prolong the battery’s lifespan. The OnePlus 11 5G is said to take only 25 minutes to charge from 1 per cent to 100 per cent, courtesy of the 100W SUPERVOOC fast-charging technology. The phone has certifications including TÜV SÜD 48-month Fluency Rating A, TÜV SÜD Precise Touching S Rating, SGS Perceived Fluency A+ and TÜV Rheinland. The OnePlus 11 5G is also the first OnePlus device that will receive four major OxygenOS updates and five years of security updates.
OnePlus 11 has a triple-camera system, dominated by an IMX890 50MP main sensor, a 32MP portrait sensor and a 48MP ultra-wide sensor. The phone has Hasselblad collaboration that would render natural colour calibration, supported by a 13-channel multi-spectral sensor for light-colour identification as well as Hasselblad portrait mode.
