OnePlus 10R, OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite Launching In India On April 28: Everything You Should Know

Previous leaks and rumours had suggested that the OnePlus 10R could be a rebadged Realme GT Neo 3.

New Delhi: Handset maker OnePlus will launch the OnePlus 10R 5G and OnePlus CE 2 Lite 5G at its “More Power To You” event slated to be held on April 28, the company announced on Thursday.

The company is calling the OnePlus 10R 5G its "next flagship" smartphone under the OnePlus R series that was launched last year to offer the brand's fast and smooth experience at a more accessible price point. The OnePlus 10R 5G will introduce 150W SUPERVOOC charging technology, also, the fastest charging solution ever on a OnePlus phone. It claims to charge the OnePlus 10R’s battery from 1 to 100 per cent in 17 minutes. However, the base variant of OnePlus 10R will support 80W SUPERVOOC charging only.

Previous leaks and rumours had suggested that the OnePlus 10R could be a rebadged Realme GT Neo 3 that may also be unveiled in India soon.

Meanwhile, the Nord series will see another addition in the form of OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G. The device will arrive with a 5,000mAh battery that can power the device for an entire day of gaming, surfing and streaming, according to the handset maker. The OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G will feature a 33W SUPERVOOC rapid-charging that claims to charge the battery from 0 to 50 per cent in 30 minutes.

According to reports, the OnePlus 10R may be the first phone in the brand’s number series to join the budget OnePlus Nord series and feature a MediaTek chipset instead of a Snapdragon SoC. All the number series phones, starting with the OnePlus One to the OnePlus 9R and 9RT, were launched with Qualcomm Snapdragon chips. However, the OnePlus 10R may arrive with a MediaTek Dimensity 8100 SoC.
