New Delhi: OnePlus 10 Pro is set to launch in India soon as the model's launch details have surfaced online. Launched in the company's home turf in China earlier this year, the OnePlus 10 Pro is not set to be officially unveiled in India as the successor to the OnePlus 9 Pro, the media has reported.
The OnePlus 10 Pro launch event in India may be hosted next month and it would go on sale via e-commerce site Amazon.in during the Holi sale, according to a report published in 91Mobiles that quoted tipster Yogesh Brar. The OnePlus 10 Pro would debut in the country on March 15 or March 16, soon after the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra in India which is likely to take place on March 11. There has been no official confirmation or teasers from OnePlus about the OnePlus 10 Pro. OnePlus is also slated to refresh its Nord line with the OnePlus Nord CE2 5G later this week.
Specs of the upcoming OnePlus 10 Pro include the top-tier Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. In terms of imaging capabilities, the OnePlus 10 Pro would feature triple rear cameras led by a 48MP primary sensor with an LED flash, a 50MP secondary lens and an 8MP third sensor. For selfies, the OnePLus 10 Pro would house a 32MP selfie camera. The battery will be a 5000 mAh one with support for 80W SuperVOOC fast charging, 50W wireless charging as well as 10W reverse wireless charging.
Meanwhile, OnePlus is also set to launch a new model in the Nord series later this week and the mid-range Nord CE2 5G will be launched in a new shade of blue. Earlier last week, the handset maker had teased the design of the upcoming Nord CE 2 5G ahead of the launch and according to that the device is going to sport a punch-hole display and a triple camera set-up at the rear. Earlier in December, the smartphone was spotted on the BIS website and also spotted in the source code of OnePlus' website.
Another much-anticipated smartphone lineup that will be available in India in March is the Samsung Galaxy S22 series that comprises three models: the Galaxy S22 Ultra with S Pen support, the Galaxy S22+ and the vanilla Galaxy S22.
