Nothing Phone 2a had a successful launch this month, however, complaints regarding the device have also surfaced from a number of consumers. In order to resolve the complaints, Nothing is quickly releasing software updates and the latest Nothing OS 2.5.4 is on its way. Several camera improvements, bug fixes and general improvements were targeted in the update. Nothing is also opening a new contest now.

Nothing Organises 'Community Edition' Contest

Nothing has kicked off a new 'Community Edition' contest which will allow the members of its community to collaborate in building a special edition design of the latest Nothing Phone 2a over a period of a few months. Let us have a look at the stages of the contest to understand it better.

March – Hardware Design: Infuse your unique creativity into Phone (2a)'s legendary hardware. The victor will have the chance to partner with Nothing's London-based industrial design team to actualise their concept. Submissions for this phase will be open to everyone starting from March 26, 2024.
May – Wallpaper Design: Design a set of wallpapers that harmoniously complements the selected hardware design. The victorious collection will come pre-installed on Phone (2a) Community Edition upon shipping.
June – Packaging Design: Get creative with the packaging design. This is an opportunity to create a unique unboxing experience that seamlessly connects the hardware and wallpaper designs from stages 1 and 2.
July – Marketing Campaign: Generate and present an innovative marketing proposal for Phone (2a) Community Edition. With assistance from Nothing's Brand & Creative team, community members will collaborate to establish a visual identity and create a collection of assets to promote the phone upon its release.
