Nothing Is Giving Away NFTs Titled Black Dots: Here's Everything You Should Know
As anticipated, Carl Pei's consumer tech brand Nothing is giving away Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) to its community investors.
As anticipated, consumer tech brand Nothing is giving away Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) to its community investors. The first release of NFT tokens would be made available for early investors, according to Nothing. The NFTs, called "Black Dot NFTs" would be made available for Nothing's early investors. Future airdrops of NFTs would be available for buyers who pre-order the company's first smartphone, Nothing Phone 1, the media has reported.
To receive the airdrop of NFTs, Nothing's community investors will need to log in to their Nothing account, connect or create a crypto wallet and navigate to “My NFT Page” where they would be directed to their “Black Dot” following the July 7 airdrop, says a report by Hype Beast.
"This is Nothing Community Dots. We are all Nothing. Dots in the huge improbable scheme of everything. But let these seemingly small, insignificant dots connect. Then something begins. See thread below," Nothing tweeted on Tuesday.

"Starting with Black Dot NFTs. Now open to be redeemed exclusively by our community investors. For more information please check this thread and our Discord," Nothing added.
The company's tapping into NFTs was recently teased by Nothing founder Carl Pei. "We are all Dots. Let's connect the dots. Stay tuned for tomorrow," Pei had tweeted.
Meanwhile, earlier last week, images of the Nothing Phone 1 in black colour surfaced for the first time, courtesy of WinFuture and famed leakster Roland Quandt. It looks pretty similar to the white variant of Nothing Phone 1, albeit for some subtle changes. The leaked images suggest that the LED lighting bars have been tuned to grey colour instead of white. The flat sides of the chassis of the smartphone are matte black in colour.
Nothing is set to launch its first smartphone Nothing Phone 1 on July 12 and it will be available for pre-order only on the e-commerce site Flipkart. The Nothing Ear 1 TWS was also made available on Flipkart. It should be noted that the invite-only system seems to be "borrowed" from OnePlus which was also co-founded by Nothing's CEO Carl Pei did OnePlus launched its first phone years ago.
