Nothing's First Exclusive Service Centre In Bengaluru Opened Ahead Of Phone (2) Launch: Report

India's Nothing Drops store will be located at Lulu Mall in Bengaluru where the products would be available on July 14 at 7pm.

Nothing is set to launch its second smartphone, the Nothing Phone (2) tomorrow (July) 11. The brand's first exclusive customer service centre in Karnataka has been opened and it intends to open five more such exclusive centres in the country by the end of this year and expand the number to 20 such stores in 2024, says a report by Economic Times, quoting Nothing founder Carl Pei.

“The expansion of the service center demonstrates Nothing's strong commitment to the India market and valued Indian consumer base,” Nothing was quoted as saying in the report.

The store in Bengaluru will be opened to the public starting next month, the brand added, as per the ET report.

This comes at a time when leading smartphone brands Apple, Samsung and OnePlus are focused on offline expansion in India. Last month, OnePlus' new experience store, which is a Mercedes bus was announced, carrying a range of OnePlus products, including the OnePlus 11 Concept, originally unveiled at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2023, the flagship OnePlus 11 lineup, and the new OnePlus Pad, among others. South Korean tech giant Samsung is also set to open new "Experiential" stores, in a bid to expand its offline footprint in the country.

Apple is likely to open three more exclusive offline stores in India. The tech giant opened its first official stores in India in Mumbai's BKC and New Delhi's Saket in April. The Cupertino-based tech giant is also looking to open 15 new outlets across the Asia-Pacific region, according to news agency Bloomberg.
