Nikon Z6III Full-Frame Mirrorless Camera With World's First Partially-Stacked CMOS Announced: Check Out Specifications, Features

Nikon Z6III provides enhanced image stabilisation with eight stops, improving sharpness in portraits and enabling the creation of high-resolution 96-megapixel photos.

Nikon Z6III is now official. The Japanese camera giant has introduced its latest full-frame mirrorless camera, the Z6III. This new model marks a significant advancement as it claims to feature the world's first partially-stacked CMOS sensor, setting a new standard in the camera industry. The Z6III, part of the Nikon Z series, builds on the high performance and user-friendly operability of its predecessors, the Z9 and Z8. With a 24.5-megapixel effective pixel count, the camera promises enhanced capabilities in capturing dynamic subjects and fulfilling the demanding requirements of video production.

Nikon Z6III price and availability details will be announced at a global launch event later this week.

Nikon Z6III: Specifications, Features, More

EXPEED 7 Processing Engine

Equipped with the EXPEED 7 image-processing engine, the Z6III inherits the high-speed processing power seen in the Z9 and Z8 models. This powerful engine, combined with the innovative CMOS sensor, facilitates internal 12-bit 6K RAW recording, offering greater detail and flexibility for professional videographers.

The electronic viewfinder (EVF) in the Z6III is another standout feature, boasting a brightness of 4,000 cd/m2, a resolution of 5760k dots, and a wide DCI-P3 colour gamut. This provides photographers with a clearer and more accurate view, enhancing the framing and playback experience.

Cloud Integration

In addition to its impressive hardware, the Z6III integrates seamlessly with Nikon's new cloud service, Nikon Imaging Cloud. This service includes innovative Imaging Recipes and supports automatic image transfers to various third-party cloud storage services, streamlining the workflow for photographers.

Key features of the Z6III include advanced autofocus, exceptional low-light shooting capabilities down to -10 EV, and robust construction suitable for a variety of shooting environments.

Import Custom Styles

The camera also offers "Flexible Color" Picture Control, allowing users to create and share custom styles and import "Imaging Recipes" for a more personalised shooting experience.

Moreover, the Z6III provides enhanced image stabilisation with eight stops, improving sharpness in portraits and enabling the creation of high-resolution 96-megapixel photos. It also includes features such as in-body video stabilisation, lossless zoom, and customisable shutter sounds, catering to the diverse needs of both photographers and videographers.
