The official launch of the Motorola Edge 50 Pro is set to take place in India today (April 3) at 12:00 PM local time (IST). Following last year's Motorola Edge 40 Pro, which was recieved well, the Edge 50 Pro introduces a fresh design and places a significant emphasis on artificial intelligence (AI), similar to the Samsung Galaxy S24 line and the Google Pixel 8 series. Notably, Motorola is redefining expectations this time by positioning it within the flagship killer category, evident from its choice of chip.

Motorola Edge 50 Pro Specifications And Features (Confirmed)

Confirmed specifications reveal that the Motorola Edge 50 Pro features a 6.7-inch pOLED display boasting a 1.5K resolution and a high refresh rate of 144Hz. Motorola guarantees up to 2,000 nits of peak brightness, and the panel supports HDR10+ playback. Additionally, the phone will include an in-display fingerprint reader. The display's quality will be certified by Pantone and the handset will be available in three colour options.

Moreover, the Edge 50 Pro will boast various "intelligent" camera functionalities, such as adaptive stabilization, auto-focus tracking, AI-powered photo enhancement, and tilt mode. Its primary camera will utilise a 50-megapixel sensor, while it will also sport a 10-megapixel telephoto lens capable of achieving 50x hybrid zoom.

The Motorola Edge 50 Pro will be driven by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor. It will also feature an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance, along with support for 125W fast wired charging and 50W wireless charging.
