On Thursday, Lenovo's smartphone division, Motorola, unveiled the Motorola Edge 50 Fusion. This midrange device comes pre-installed with Android 14 and is promised to receive three major Android OS updates. The phone boasts a 6.67-inch pOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery that supports 68W TurboPower charging. Under the hood, the Motorola Edge 50 Fusion runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor and offers configurations with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.

The Motorola Edge 50 Fusion is priced at Rs. 22,999 in India for the base variant, which comes with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. There is also a higher configuration available with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, priced at Rs. 24,999. This smartphone is offered in Hot Pink and Marshmallow Blue variants with a vegan leather finish, along with a third option in Forest Blue with a polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) finish.
Motorola has confirmed that the Edge 50 Fusion will be available for purchase starting May 22 through Flipkart, the official Motorola website, and various retail outlets across India.

The Motorola Edge 50 Fusion runs on the MyUX based on Android 14 and supports dual SIM functionality. It features a large 6.7-inch full-HD+ pOLED curved display with a 144Hz refresh rate, 360Hz touch sampling rate, and a peak brightness of up to 1,600 nits, protected by Gorilla Glass 5. Under the hood, it is powered by Qualcomm's 4nm Snapdragon 7s Gen2 chip paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM.
In terms of imaging capabilities, the Edge 50 Fusion boasts a 50-megapixel primary camera with a Sony LYT-700C sensor and an f/1.88 aperture. Additionally, it sports a 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera with an f/2.2 aperture that also functions as a macro camera. For selfies and video calls, there's a 32-megapixel front-facing camera with an f/2.45 aperture.
Storage options include up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. The device supports 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, and NFC connectivity, along with a USB Type-C port. Biometric authentication is handled by an in-display fingerprint sensor. The phone also includes sensors such as a proximity sensor, accelerometer, gyroscope, e-compass, and ambient light sensor.
