iQoo has expanded its Z9 series in India with the launch of the Z9s and Z9s Pro smartphones. The new devices bring high-end features at competitive prices, including 120Hz curved AMOLED displays and advanced camera systems. The Z9s series phones are equipped with a 6.7-inch 3D curved AMOLED display, offering smooth visuals with a 120Hz refresh rate. The Z9s Pro stands out with a peak brightness of up to 4,500 nits, making it the brightest curved screen phone in its price segment, according to the company.

Pricing for the Z9s starts at Rs 19,999 for the 8GB + 128GB variant, with higher storage options available at Rs 21,999 for 8GB + 256GB and Rs 23,999 for 12GB + 256GB.

Meanwhile, the Z9s Pro is priced at Rs 24,999 for 8GB + 128GB, Rs 26,999 for 8GB + 256GB, and Rs 28,999 for 12GB + 256GB.

Customers can purchase these devices through Amazon and iQoo’s official website starting August 29 for the Z9s and August 23 for the Z9s Pro.

Under the hood, the iQoo Z9s Pro 5G is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor, which has achieved over 820,000 points on the AnTuTu 10 benchmark, surpassing other devices with the same chipset. The phone also features a 3,000 sq. mm VC Liquid Cooling System to manage heat during intensive tasks.

Both the Z9s and Z9s Pro come with a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 sensor featuring Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) for enhanced photography. The Z9s Pro is further equipped with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, whereas the Z9s includes a 2-megapixel depth sensor. Additional camera features include 4K video recording, Super Night Mode, and AI-powered photo enhancements.

In terms of durability, both models carry an IP64 rating for resistance against dust and water. They operate on Android 14 with iQoo’s Funtouch OS 14, and the company promises two years of Android updates and three years of security patches.

Battery life is another highlight, with the Z9s housing a 5500mAh battery supported by 44W fast charging, while the Z9s Pro supports 80W fast charging.

The iQOO Z9s and Z9s Pro feature a 6.77-inch Full HD AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ support. The Z9s Pro model offers a peak brightness of up to 4500 nits, enhancing visibility in bright environments. The Z9s is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 processor, while the Z9s Pro is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset, delivering high performance for demanding tasks.

Both models come with options of 8GB or 12GB of RAM, coupled with either 128GB or 256GB of internal storage, providing ample space for apps and media. These smartphones run on Android 14, customized with iQOO's Funtouch OS 14, ensuring a smooth and user-friendly experience.

For photography enthusiasts, the phones are equipped with a 50MP main camera featuring Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) for steady shots. The Z9s Pro includes an additional 8MP ultra-wide lens, while the Z9s is fitted with a 2MP depth sensor for portrait photography. The front camera on both models is 16MP, designed for high-quality selfies and video calls.

Battery life is substantial, with a 5,500mAh battery capacity in both models. The Z9s supports 44W fast charging, while the Z9s Pro takes it a step further with 80W fast charging, ensuring quick power-ups. Additional features include an in-display fingerprint sensor for security, an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance, and full 5G connectivity for fast data speeds.
